Real Welfare 2013
- Since April 1st, it has been a requirement for Red Tractor compliance for finisher pigs (>50kg) to receive Real Welfare assessments
- If you are a pig vet currently carrying out Red Tractor inspections (Quarterly visits) and have been unable to attend online or on-farm training, please contact [email protected]
- NEW – A Bureau service will be available from July 1 to handle data entry (see newsletter), This is a short term measure to assist with data submission whilst the i-pig smartphone app is undergoing final de-bugging
- The webportal (i-pig.org) remains fully functional for practices to enter their own data if preferred.
