BPEX and AHVLA have worked in partnership to develop rodent control documents , including guidance on how to recognise rodent damage, which rodenticides to use, and how to ‘rodent proof’ your unit.
Rodent’s carry many diseases that affect pigs and humans, in particular, controlling rodents is essential to break the cycle of salmonella infection. BPEX will be rolling out Rodent Control Training for vets and producers, which will be on a first come – first served basis, so please keep an eye out for details later this year.
