A series of model application templates have been prepared to help pig farmers applying for a permit to operate under the Pollution Prevention and Control Regulations. The templates are still applicable for use in any Intensive Farming Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) permit application after August 2008, although the Application Form for which they were prepared to compliment has been replaced by the standard EPR application form. The templates are designed to reduce the time it takes to complete the application paperwork. Draft templates for use with the EPR Forms are under evaluation, if you are involved in making an application or variation, then we can make these available, contact Nigel Penlington.
Using the model templates assists applicants in preparing the necessary documentation. Each template is published in both PDF and Word format with the exception of the Application Form, which is a PDF only. The PDF version can be used by those wishing to print the documents for reference only. The Word documents may be used as the basis for an application, however care must be taken as formatting errors may arise when used.
