Cornish Pig Club - 9th Feb 2009
The Cornish Pig Club met again this month. Many subjects were covered this time including an update from Rob Bray to the rest of the group about the Dairy Co-op meeting he attended in Exeter in January.
Other topics affecting the Cornish pig industry were
covered including the new South West Healthy Livestock Initiative as one Cornish
producer attended the first pig focus group about channelling the money.
Potential destock and restock to eradicate PRRS was discussed with Cornwall
needing to start it off due to location
