The Nitrate Pollution Prevention Regulations (SI 2008/2349) establish the Action Programme measures and describe them in full detail. Nine guidance documents have been produced by Defra and the Environment Agency to help farmers understand the requirements, implement, and comply with the Action Programme measures.
