Wallpapering Flies.... 16th October 2008
With flies seeming to become more of a year round problem these days, effective fly control is essential. In addition to the appropriate use of larvacides, when using granular adulticides against house flies instead of dissolving the granules and applying by the traditional "paint on" method consider this simple option:
- Apply the granules on boards placed in strategic
"hotspots" where flies are seen to rest.
- Stick the granules to the
boards using wallpaper paste (white boards where available are apparently
the most "attractive" to flies).
- Replace the boards when the granules can be seen
to have visually been "consumed".
