A bacon sarnie is one of the country’s favourite dishes and Jane Chapman knows them from top to bottom! She has just joined the British Pig Executive (BPEX) as Trade Sector Manager and has previously worked in the bakery industry.
Jane, who did a degree in food science at Sutton Bonington, has also worked in the chilled food sector, all the positions in sales and marketing. She said: “I am looking forward to the challenge of working with the pig industry. It is in a period of immense change which means there are many new opportunities to be seized.”
BPEX Head of Consumer Affairs Richard Lowe said “Jane has worked in the sales and marketing environment for some time and is familiar with the multiple retailers. Her knowledge and experience will be of great benefit to BPEX.”
When not at work, Jane is keen on food, wine and travelling.
