The BPEX PCV2 Research Project is now up and running. This is a research project to measure the improvements in herd health, welfare, mortality and physical performance by unit, region and on a national scale that result from PCV2 vaccination of sows or piglets. As a result BPEX together with veterinary practices and the pharmaceutical companies will be able to offer excellent advice on the cost benefits of using the vaccines.
Please complete an application form and ensure that the terms and conditions are read carefully, hopefully these are self explanatory - the web application route is quick and easy and much preferred.
As a research project we are expecting information from your units pre and post vaccination performance in return for the cash back vouchers.
Applications must be sent to EWA who BPEX have appointed to deal with the administration of the scheme, they will then be in touch with project information and the first voucher.
