The partners developing the Pig Industry Environment Strategy (PIES) are seeking the view and opinion of all stakeholders on the Draft Strategy Document.
BPEX, NPA, NFU, Defra and Environment Agency see the implementation of an environment strategy as a very important step by the pig industry in recognising the challenges and opportunities in addressing environmental issues and creating a sustainable industry.
We would like your help. Attached is a discussion document on what the strategy might look like. We would value the comments of everyone interested in this issue, be they producers, processors, suppliers, researchers, policy makers or regulators.
