NetRegs - Quicker Access to Environmental Rules For Small Businesses
The Environment Agency launched the NetRegs website to give guidance on environmental regulations and be a resource tool. 100 industry sectors are covered in alphabetical order - so you don't have to look far for Agriculture.
Each sector is then further broken down e.g. pigs, arable, general livestock etc and then further broken down into process sectors e.g. fuel storage, pesticides etc.
Relevant regulations and a summary are then provided, in some cases further leads are provided to relevant information e.g. Statutory Nuisance is explained.
Besides Business Sectors there are sections on Management Guidelines, Legislation and More Resources with more detail and links.
This tool should speed up the search for relevant rules and looks useful although appearing not to be totally comprehensive. You sometimes need to go wider to find the answers.
