BPEX operates with maximum autonomy within MLC's statutory responsibilities and comprises leading individuals across the British pig industry. It consists of 12 people nominated by industry representative organisations. BPEX meets at least 6 times a year.
BPEX determines MLC's Pig Strategy and ensures that pig levy payers' money is efficiently deployed in line with that strategy.
