Pig Industry Professional Register
PIPR is the pig industry’s own continuous professional development (CPD) scheme, established to recognise professionalism and encourage lifelong learning to build on the existing skills in the pig industry.
- Members collect points through skills and knowledge acquisition
- PIPR records points and demonstrates CPD within a business
- PIPR provides a record of achievement, independently accredited and recognised industry wide
At events registered with PIPR, members sign their name and provide their membership number on the attendance register, which makes sure points are updated on their points statement.
Members are required to collect 60 or more points in each three-year period to quality for membership renewal.
